# SyncBridge

SyncBridge is an iPhone and iPad app that helps users synchronize tasks between Apple Reminders and Google Tasks.

The App is designed for users who use Apple Reminders on their Apple devices and Google Tasks in their Google account, and want a simple way to keep basic task information consistent between both services.

## What SyncBridge Does

SyncBridge connects Apple Reminders and Google Tasks and synchronizes selected task lists.

The App can synchronize basic task information such as:

– Task title

– Task notes

– Completion status

– Due date

SyncBridge is intended to provide a simple synchronization experience without unnecessary settings or complex workflows.

## Why SyncBridge Uses Google Tasks API

SyncBridge uses the Google Tasks API to access the user’s Google Tasks data with the user’s permission.

The App uses Google Tasks API only for the following purposes:

– To display Google Tasks lists selected by the user

– To read tasks from Google Tasks for synchronization

– To create tasks in Google Tasks based on Apple Reminders

– To update Google Tasks when corresponding Apple Reminders are changed

– To match synchronized tasks between Apple Reminders and Google Tasks

SyncBridge does not use Google Tasks data for advertising, analytics, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to task synchronization.

## How Google Sign-In Is Used

SyncBridge uses Google’s OAuth authentication system so that users can securely connect their Google account.

When the user signs in with Google and grants permission, SyncBridge receives access required to synchronize Google Tasks. Authentication tokens are stored securely on the user’s device using the device’s Keychain.

Users can sign out from the App or revoke access through their Google account settings at any time.

## Apple Reminders Access

SyncBridge also requests access to Apple Reminders on the user’s device.

This access is used only to read, create, and update reminders selected for synchronization with Google Tasks.

## Data Handling

SyncBridge is built to keep data handling simple and transparent.

The App stores synchronization settings, task matching information, and Google authentication tokens on the user’s device.

SyncBridge does not operate its own server for storing user tasks. The App does not automatically send user task data to our own servers for advertising, analytics, or usage tracking.

When synchronization is performed, task information is transmitted between the user’s device and Google Tasks through Google’s services as necessary to provide the synchronization feature.

## Privacy

SyncBridge handles task information only to provide synchronization between Apple Reminders and Google Tasks.
